# K3 Labs Hackathon: Your Guide to Innovation

Welcome to the K3 Labs Hackathon! We’re thrilled to host this exciting event in partnership with[ Intersect](https://www.intersect.to/), a celebration of innovation on the new L1 by[ Avalanche](https://www.avax.network/) and[ STC](https://www.stc.com.sa/). This page will guide you through using the K3 Labs platform throughout the hackathon.

**What is the Hackathon?**

Running from August 12 to September 12, this hackathon invites participants to explore the potential of Web3. If you’re competing in the Gaming, Music and Media track, or the Security and Interoperability track, you can qualify for the K3 special bounty by using the K3 tool in your final project. **Prizes**

The winner(s) of the K3 special bounty will receive:

1. 💵 $1,500 Cash
2. 🛠️ K3 1-Year Membership - worth $500<br>

**Limits**

While using the platform, please note there are limits on using the Write Email function: Each user can send up to 20 emails per hour.
